Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sleep in a condor’s nest?
Wonder no more by travelling to Peru.
National Geographic Travel takes you to the Skylodges in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru.
Transparent capsules attached to a cliff will be your hotel room. Enjoy a 300-degree view.
You can get to your room in two ways – climb 400 meters above the valley floor or take a hike through the zip lines.
Up to eight guests can stay overnight in each of the three suspended rooms. The 24-by-8 foot capsules are made from aerospace-grade aluminum and weather-resistant polycarbonate. An eco-friendly design uses solar-and battery-powered LED lighting and a dry ecological toilet.
