The fastest Olympic sport ever might not be what you think.
With winning times under six seconds, speed climbing is now the games’ quickest challenge.
Battles are won by millisecond margins on 15-metre high walls.
Just one slip can cost you the match.
It will make its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.
The event will be called Sport Climbing and feature two other disciplines.
1 Lead Climbing: a height competition where climbers trace a fixed course on a 12-metre wall.
2 Bouldering: where the athletes must complete as many routes as possible. Better start practicing.
What are you waiting for? Start practicing. Go for gold.
