Heavy traffic? No problemo!

Here is the flying car you have been asking for and it is a zero-emission, all electric, flying car. Cool?

The Lilium Jet is a two-seater plane capable of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and it consumes about 90% less energy than drone-style aircraft.

The creators imagine that it can replace the car transport in congested cities, sooner or later.

The idea is to hail a flying car on your smartphone like Uber, or Grab. Yes, transport at your fingertips, not to mention commuting in style.

Lilium Jet successfully completed flight tests in Germany, including tricky moves like mid-air transitions, from hover mode to wing-borne forward flight. They have turned scary into safe.

The Lilium Jet is powered by 36 electric jet engines. Powerful.

Lilium Jet is also developing a five seat version of the jet so you can have a mini-van version of the Jetson’s flying car. Now this is futuristic carpooling, which is no longer not that far into the future.
