GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO FURTHER IMPROVE DELIVERY OF PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES – GO

Former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go has vowed to push for legislative reforms in the health, agriculture, education, and housing sectors if he gets elected to the Senate in next year’s midterm polls.

Go was the guest of honor at the launching of the Kusog Bicolandia party where he was named as an honorary member recently.

In his message, the former presidential aide underscored the need for further improvement in the government’s delivery of health services to the public.

He cited that his pet program, the “Malasakit Center,” is a one-stop-shop health hub now established in 17 regions across the country.

Go, in an interview, said he would fully support moves to make Bicol a gateway to the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

Kusog Bicolandia is a newly accredited regional political party that aims to promote the welfare of Bicolanos through development, empowerment, and good governance.

“I will fully support moves to make Bicol a gateway to the Visayas and Mindanao regions.”

It was founded and now headed by Noel de Luna, who is into the construction business and public relations.

De Luna said the party has over 100,000 members spread over the six provinces of Bicol.

De Luna also endorsed Go’s bid for the Senate during the party’s launch.
