Parents are often faced with the problem of how to get colicky babies to fall asleep.Sometimes, the solution is as simple as a very early morning car ride.

In The Know Innovation features the Max Motor Dreams, a crib created by the Ford Motor Company that mimics a car ride, which as it turns out, really does help in getting babies fall asleep faster.

“While a quick drive in the family car can work wonders in getting baby off to sleep, the poor old parents still have to be awake and alert at the wheel,” tells Alejandro Lopez Bravo, one of the crib’s designers.

“The Max Motor Dreams could make the everyday lives of a lot of people a little bit better,” said Lopez.

The crib simulates the motion of a car ride and even imitates the sound of a car engine. The Max Motor Dreams also comes with LED lights that simulate street lights.

In addition, there is also an app where parents can record the sounds and movements of a ride in the family car.

With this crib, parents will no longer need to drive around the neighborhood at 2 a.m. just to get their babies fall asleep.
