LEGO tells the story of how a real car was built using LEGO pieces.
The idea was to do the impossible – and it succeeded.
The inspiration was the iconic Bugatti Chiron.
More than 1 million LEGO Technic elements were used.
The body and engine were assembled without using any glue.
The car weighed 1,500 kilograms.
13,000 hours or 541 days or a year-and-a-half were spent to build and test the unit.
The result — a fully drivable car that can run at 20 kilometers per hour.
Aren’t you curious how does it feel to ride this car?
We’ve built the impossible: a full-sized LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron …and it drives! #BuildforReal
