A British Sculptor in Mexico has found a way to combine art and marine conservation.

Travel Channel presents Jason Decaires Taylor who makes underwater sculptures and transforms them into artificial reefs.

Taylor uses a special cement that has a pH balance that helps coral settle on the sculptures.

And his sculptures are based on real people.

So far, he has made more than 400 figures that have been placed on the ocean floor.

To see them up close and personal, travel to Cancun, Mexico. Your destination – the Underwater Museum of Art.
