He is only 20 years old but he is the richest football player in the world.
His fortune is a lot bigger than popular football players. He is 27 times richer than Cristiano Ronaldo, 33 times more than Lionel Messi’s wealth and 50 times that of Neymar’s fortune.
He is rich not because of football but because of his family.
Faiq Bolkiah belongs to the royal family of Brunei.
He is the nephew of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.
His father is Prince Jefri who is known for his extravagant lifestyle. The prince has more than 2,300 luxury cars, eight Boeing planes, five yachts, 500 homes, and several palaces.
Prince Jefri once spent $17M to put on a private Michael Jackson show for Faiq who was just 7 years old then.
He could be living in this luxury, but Faiq’s passion is in football.
“I’ve played football since I was very young,” Faiq tells Soccer Stories. “I’ve always loved being on the pitch with the ball at my feet. My parents always have been supportive in helping me achieve my dreams of becoming a football player.”
Faiq’s fortune is estimated to be at least $20 billion. With that amount, he could buy his own football club and play in his own team.
But the young man is determined to succeed with his own hard work.
He has already been part of youth teams in Chelsea and South Hampton. He has only played five matches with Brunei’s national team. In 2016, he signed his first professional contract at Lester but he hasn’t played yet in the Premiere League with the boxes.
The midfielder is working hard to achieve his dream of one day playing with the Premiere League team.
This is the richest footballer in the world that you've never heard of💰💰💰
