Do you want to experience the adrenalin rush of surfing on land?

Visit Knott’s Berry Farm Buena Park in California with Insider Presents.

Look for the long queue of people and you’ll find Hang Time, the park’s latest attraction and California’s first and only dive coaster.

Riders first ascend 150 feet to the peak and are left suspended at a 60-degree angle. The suspension gives riders the illusion of a disappearing track. After a few seconds, the coaster plummets down the vertical drop and sweeps through five gravity-defying inversions. The negative g-force stall loop gives a floating sensation all while moving at 57 mph.

Night time is a different experience. The 2,189 feet of coaster track light up when it’s dark.

If you find the speed a bit slow, you still have another option. Hang Time is the second fastest coaster in the park.

The fastest is the Xcelerator. It goes up to the speed of 82 mph in 2.3 seconds.
