35% OF INCUMBENT PARTY-LIST GROUPS LOSE

In the aftermath of the midterm election of May 12, 2025, 19 incumbent party-list groups failed to secure enough votes to win another term, making 35% of incumbent party-list groups lose.

Based on the results as of May 15, 2025, it looks like for the 2025-2028 term, or the 20th Congress, there will be 54 party-list groups occupying a total of 63 seats.

Out of these 54, 35 are incumbent party-list groups, and 19 are newcomers.

OUTGOING

These nineteen party-list groups fell short of renewing their mandate: GABRIELA, ABONO, ANG PROBINSYANO, OFW, KALINGA, 1PACMAN, ANGAT, MAGSASAKA, P3PWD, BHW, PROBINSYANO AKO, PINUNO, API, AGRI, ANAKALUSUGAN, KABAYAN, PATROL, TUTOK TO WIN and PBA.

RETURNING

These thirty-five party-list groups will continue to serve their chosen sectors or regions: AKBAYAN, DUTERTE YOUTH, TINGOG, 4PS, ACT-CIS, AKO BICOL, USWAG ILONGGO, CIBAC, SENIOR CITIZENS, MALASAKIT@BAYANIHAN, UNITED SENIOR CITIZENS, COOP-NATCCO, LPGMA, AKO BISAYA, CWS, AGAP, AGIMAT, SAGIP, TGP, 1-RIDER, GP, ALONA, BICOL SARO, ACT TEACHERS, KUSUG TAUSUG, BH, KABATAAN, TUCP, APEC, AKO ILOCANO AKO, MANILA TEACHERS, DUMPER PTDA, ABANG LINGKOD, PUSONG PINOY and PHILRECA.

INCOMING

These nineteen party-list groups managed to capture one seat: SOLID NORTH, TRABAHO, PPP, ML, FPJ PANDAY BAYANIHAN, 4K, PINOY WORKERS, ASENSO PINOY, KAMANGGAGAWA, KAMALAYAN, ONE COOP, KM NGAYON NA, ABAMIN, MAGBUBUKID, 1TAHANAN, NANAY, SSS-GSIS PENSYONADO, KAPUSO PM and SWERTE.
