Rockwell Land Corporation is donating a 1,986-square-meter parcel of land to the City of Bacolod, which will serve as the future site of essential emergency facilities: a Fire Substation, a Bac-up Station, and a Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Command Center.
The property is located within the new Rockwell development along Buri Road, Barangay Mandalagan.
The project was initiated by Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, with funding support from Senator Francis Tolentino, who allocated a ₱10 million budget in 2024.
“Something new,” Benitez told his constituents in a Facebook post.
“A new police station, fire sub-station, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Response Center will soon rise within the Rockwell development in Buri Road, Barangay Mandalagan.”
