The NUSTAR Hotel Cebu officially opened its doors, marking a new chapter in Cebu’s hospitality scene.
Department of Tourism (DOT) Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco served as the keynote speaker at the grand opening.
Frasco underscored that beyond its breathtaking destinations, Cebu offers meaning for travelers.

Complementing these experiences, the tourism head added, is the ever-growing portfolio of world-class accommodations.
“In this proud tradition, NUSTAR Hotel Cebu stands as a shining example-an iconic addition thatstrengthens Cebu’s position as one of the world’s most exceptional tourism destinations.” she said.
A proud Cebuana herself, Frasco also highlighted the Cebuanos’ commitment to excellence that made the province what it is today.
“Our culture as Cebuanos is not mere performance. It is the rhythm of our daily lives. We live itwith quiet courage, protect it with conviction, and share it with pride because it shapes everythingthat we do,” she added.
