Hundreds witnessed a heartfelt ceremony as Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II officially took his oath of office during a solemn and inspiring thanksgiving event held at Lapid Arena, Barangay Pampang, Angeles City.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, regional and local public officials, stakeholders, and the media, marking a new chapter of governance for the Angeleños.

He received a thunderous applause when he assured the audience that he listened during his campaign and promised to prioritize good governance and transparency.
Among Lazatin’s key commitments was to suspend the collection of the environmental fee, a move aimed at easing the burden on residents and entrepreneurs, and promoting sustainable development.
