The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region VI, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and the Department of Transportation, launched the LTO E-Patrol Mobile Service at the Provincial Capitol Grounds offering on-site vehicle registration, driver’s license applications and renewals, free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) lectures, and other road safety initiatives.
Dubbed “LTO on Wheels,” the E-Patrol van aims to bring essential LTO services directly to motorists, particularly in remote and underserved areas.

It is an outreach campaign designed to bring government services and promote road safety to the farthest areas of Region VI and the Negros Island Region.
LTO conducted live demonstrations and a rollout of the LTO R6/NIR E-Patrol Mobile Office, including vehicle inspection, smoke emission testing, vehicle registration, and licensing services using its modernized bus.
Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson joined the activity and expressed support for the LTO’s initiative, citing that the advocacy is not just for road safety but also for the ease of doing business.
“By making license and registration renewals more convenient, we encourage more of our citizens to follow traffic rules, undergo proper inspections, and maintain roadworthy vehicles to ensure the safety of everyone.”
