BOC HOLDS 3RD COLLECTORS’ CONFERENCE

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) held the 3rd Collectors’ Conference of the year, hosted by the Port of Subic. 

Strategic discussions were conducted, focusing on fiscal performance, trade facilitation initiatives, enforcement efforts, and sharing of best practices among collection districts.

A key highlight of the event was the awarding of Certificates of Commendation to Collection Districts that exceeded their revenue targets.

A total of 11 Collection Districts received this recognition, namely: Port of San Fernando, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Port of Legazpi, Port of Cebu, Port of Tacloban, Port of Surigao, Port of Davao, Port of Subic, Port of Clark, Port of Aparri, and Port of Limay.

Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the men and women of each collection district for their steadfast service and perseverance in advancing the Bureau’s mission. 

Nepomuceno noted that their continued efforts reflect the Bureau’s collective drive toward stronger fiscal performance, enhanced border security, and a more responsive and efficient customs service that supports the nation’s broader economic and development agenda.
