COA CONCLUDES GAB COMPLIANCE AUDIT

The Commission on Audit (COA) concluded its Compliance Audit Exit Conference for Calendar Year (CY) 2025 with Chairman Atty. Francisco Rivera and key officials of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

The COA group is composed of Supervising Auditor Amado Ablao, Audit Team Leader Richard Banate, and Audit Team Member Maria Racelle Adel.

The conference featured an in-depth discussion of COA’s audit findings, followed by an exchange of insights and updates from GAB management.

The productive dialogue underscored a shared commitment to strengthening governance and ensuring the efficient delivery of quality public service to professional athletes and sports stakeholders.

Rivera expressed his appreciation to COA and reaffirmed GAB’s commitment to full compliance with audit observations.

“Rest assured that the GAB will continue to comply with existing auditing rules and regulations.”

“We are all guided by the provisions of law, and we welcome COA’s findings. Rest assured that the GAB will continue to comply with existing auditing rules and regulations while delivering high-quality public service in support of the furtherance of professional sports in the country,” he concluded.
