Laguna Governor Sol Aragones led the opening of the free dialysis center in Bay.
The newly inaugurated Dialysis Center of Laguna is part of the provincial government’s continuing commitment to accessible and compassionate healthcare.
The facility can accommodate 21 patients per shift with two shifts daily, serving up to 42 dialysis patients per day.
This expansion aims to ease the burden on families who regularly travel far and spend heavily for treatment.
Aragones emphasized her deep concern for dialysis patients, assuring them that the provincial government will shoulder essential needs.
“Maganda dito ay libre ang dialysis, libre ang gamot at libre din ang bigas.”
“Malapit sa puso natin ang mga dialysis patients. Maganda dito ay libre ang dialysis, libre ang gamot at libre din ang bigas,” the lady governor said, highlighting that beneficiaries will receive free dialysis sessions, free medicines, and even a free half sack of rice every month.
Meanwhile, Dr. Odilon Inoncillo of the Provincial Health Office assured patients of prioritized access to medicines through the province’s pharmacy assistance program.
“Libre ang mga gamot at ipa-prioritize namin kayo. Hindi na kayo pipila.
“Lahat ng dialysis patients natin dito, ipakita lang ang reseta sa ating mga Akay ni Gob Botika. Libre ang mga gamot at ipa-prioritize namin kayo. Hindi na kayo pipila, ibibigay ang gamot nyo para sa buong buwan,” Inoncillo said.
Aragones also announced that another dialysis center is set to open in Pakil this April, further expanding healthcare services across Laguna.
The initiative reflects the Provincial Government of Laguna’s strengthened healthcare agenda ensuring that no dialysis patient is left behind.
With the opening of the Bay facility and more centers underway, the Provincial Government of Laguna continues to turn its promise of compassionate and inclusive healthcare into action bringing hope, relief, and dignity to dialysis patients and their families across the province.
