IEshikawa 20 — ATRIA by UP CIEM Recognizes Winners Across National Competitions

The University of the Philippines Circle of Industrial Engineering Majors (UP CIEM) successfully concluded IEshikawa 20 — ATRIA: The Industrial Pulse of Systems, held last February 27–28, bringing together nearly 500 participants from 31 universities nationwide in a celebration of healthcare innovation, strategy, and industrial excellence.

In the Quiz Bee Competition, Cassidy Kyler Tan, Gabriel Cheo Carambas, Jared Earl Leyson, Chun Yang Shi, and Megan Sio from De La Salle University – Manila were declared Champions, followed by the team from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (Team UPLB) as 1st Runner-Up and the team from the University of Santo Tomas (Team USTIE) as 2nd Runner-Up.

For the Case Study Competition, the championship title was awarded to UPLBhIE from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, composed of Trisha M. Gutierrez, Christian Vic L. Fernandez, Nuna Lucia Saoirse M. Lagman, and Allyssa Diane H. Tumala. OptiMystics from Saint Louis University – Baguio City placed 1st Runner-Up, while Team BatangNEU from Batangas State University finished as 2nd Runner-Up.

In the Design Sprint Hackathon, Team Innovation from the Technological Institute of the Philippines secured the top spot as Champion, with team members Rina Marie P. Fiestada, Mark Anthony L. Encallado, Raniel P. Cabalfin, and Jessica Faith C. Moncupa. The 1st Runner-Up position went to Systemsmiths from Bulacan State University, followed by Salun-at from Saint Louis University – Baguio City as 2nd Runner-Up.

Meanwhile, in the Senior High School (SHS) Case Study Competition, the first-ever SHS event in IEshikawa, NEXUS 5 from City of Malolos Integrated School – Sto. Rosario emerged as Champion, with team members Jhyruz D. Magsakay, Cherry Rose T. Retostos, Yanica C. Dela Rosa, Dairich Oliva Rompe, and Adrian C. Pingol. BONSAI, from the same school but a different team, earned the 1st Runner-Up title, and HARMONY from Quezon National High School placed 2nd Runner-Up.
