The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) hosted the “Showcasing & Walk Through with Logistics Strategic Session” in Subic recently.
A pillar of the Health Stockpiling Project, this initiative ensures rapid response to public health emergencies.
Teams demonstrated expertise in deploying medical tents, isolation wards, and hospital support units. The Critical assets—including vaccine refrigerators, ventilators, and PPEs— are strategically prepositioned in Subic, Namayan, and Cebu warehouses for multi-regional efficiency.

Key sessions were led by Mark Alvin Abrigo (Manager, PRC Health & Welfare) and Gopal Mukherjee (Program Coordinator, IFRC).
The event featured guidance from IFRC Evaluators Vinod Muniandy and Geeta Shrestha, alongside PRC chapter representatives from different regions.
The initiative is supported by the IFRC, the Government of Japan, and the Asia-Europe Foundation.
