Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella III led the turnover of P16.3 million worth of farm equipment and machinery to 31 Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) during the ARB Summit 2026, “Lakas ng ARBO, Tagumpay ng Agraryo,” held recently at The Capital Arena, City of Ilagan.
The farm assistance, distributed to beneficiary organizations across Region 2, is expected to boost agricultural productivity, improve farm operations, and strengthen the livelihood opportunities of agrarian reform beneficiaries in the Cagayan Valley Region.
Joining Estrella in the activity were House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III, Governor Rodito Albano III, and DAR Region 02 Regional Director Primo Lara, together with officials and personnel from DAR Central, Regional, and Provincial Offices, partner agencies, and agrarian reform beneficiaries.
During the event, DAR recognized the Most Outstanding Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), Most Progressive Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs), and outstanding Agrarian Reform Communities (ARCs) for their contributions to agricultural development and rural empowerment.
The activity also featured the distribution of Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (CoCRoM), providing relief to agrarian reform beneficiaries through the condonation of unpaid land amortizations.
“DAR remains steadfast in bringing government programs, projects, and services closer to Filipino farmers and rural communities.”
In his message, Estrella assured farmers that DAR remains steadfast in bringing government programs, projects, and services closer to Filipino farmers and rural communities.
Dy, meanwhile, expressed the full support of the House of Representatives for DAR initiatives aimed at uplifting the welfare of farmers and strengthening the country’s agricultural sector.
“I laud Sec. Estrella’s commitment to advancing the welfare of agrarian reform beneficiaries in Northern Luzon.”
Rodito also lauded the DAR chief for his continued support to farmers in Isabela and across Region 2, citing his commitment to advancing the welfare of agrarian reform beneficiaries in Northern Luzon.
As part of the summit, DAR Region 02 also introduced “TiendAR ti Mannalon,” a marketing initiative designed to help farmers promote and market their agricultural products.
Free legal assistance services under “Abogado ti Mannalon” were likewise made available to agrarian reform beneficiaries during the activity.
