ARAGONES BRINGS ‘LAGUNA PANTRY’ TO SANTA ROSA

More families in Santa Rosa City enjoyed a more complete meal as Governor Sol Aragones brought the Laguna Pantry program to the city with the distribution of free fish and fresh vegetables, while Mayor Arlene Arcillas and Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas strengthened the assistance by adding rice and coffee packs for residents.

The food assistance, which benefited hundreds of residents, also highlighted the continuing support of the Provincial Government of Laguna for local food producers, particularly farmers and tilapia growers whose products were directly purchased and distributed through the Laguna Pantry program.

Aragones emphasized that the vegetables and fish distributed during the activity were sourced directly from local farmers and fish growers in Laguna, allowing the initiative to also provide livelihood support to the province’s agriculture and fisheries sectors.

“The vegetables and fish distributed during the activity are sourced directly from local farmers and fish growers in Laguna.”

“Ibig sabihin ay kumpleto na ang tanghalian,” the lady governor said as she thanked the Santa Rosa local government for its added support to the Laguna Pantry initiative.

Through the continuing Laguna Pantry program, the provincial government aims to ease the burden of families while helping sustain the livelihood of local producers across Laguna.

By directly purchasing vegetables and fish from local farmers and tilapia growers, the initiative not only provides immediate food assistance to communities but also creates a stable market for locally produced goods, strengthening the province’s agriculture and fisheries sectors.
