CLEAR INSIGHTS BPO OPENS 1ST PH SITE IN BOHOL

The Provincial Government of Bohol, led by Governor Aris Aumentado, joined the ribbon-cutting and official opening of Clear Insights Philippines Services, Inc., a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and market research company, at the Tayabas Building along Graham Avenue, Cogon District, Tagbilaran City.

Leading the opening ceremony were Chief Operating Officer Jacob Valentine, Corporate Secretary Retchel Sasing, Tagbilaran Office Manager Ann Migriño, Senior Manager Grant Kane, and Operations Director Samantha Floyd under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer Jeff Welch.

The opening marks the company’s first operational site in the Philippines, strategically established in the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark, further expanding the province’s growing Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector.

Recognized globally for its expertise in market research, Clear Insights has built a strong reputation over the years for delivering high-quality, data-driven strategies and studies that support local and national elections, international businesses, and major corporations. The company’s research and analytics help guide critical decisions for institutions across various sectors worldwide.

Aumentado welcomed the company’s investment in Bohol, emphasizing that the development reflects the province’s long-term vision of becoming a key technology and innovation center in the Visayas.

“This is the product of our vision—Bohol as one of the emerging IT hubs in the Visayas,” the governor said.

He further noted that the area surrounding the former Tagbilaran Airport is steadily developing into a future IT hub and expressed the provincial government’s readiness to support further investments and expansion initiatives.

“Bohol remains open for expansions, and we are willing to help.”

“I hope that with this development, Bohol remains open for expansions, and we are willing to help,” Aumentado added.

Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap likewise welcomed the company’s arrival, describing it as a significant addition to the city’s growing business landscape.

“Tagbilaran City has been recognized for four consecutive years as the Most Business-Friendly City in the Philippines.”

The lady mayor highlighted that Tagbilaran City has been recognized for four consecutive years as the Most Business-Friendly City in the Philippines by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underscoring the city’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for business growth and investment.

For her part, Ann Migriño, Tagbilaran Office Manager of Clear Insights, shared her personal journey and expressed gratitude for the opportunity the company provided. Having previously worked outside Bohol, Migriño said her employment with Clear Insights allowed her to return home and build a meaningful career in the province.

She emphasized that the company’s presence creates opportunities for Boholanos who wish to pursue professional growth without leaving their hometown, while also opening doors for future homecoming professionals seeking employment opportunities in Bohol.

Meanwhile, COO Jacob Valentine commended the Boholano workforce, noting its strong reputation for excellence and reliability.

Valentine also expressed appreciation for the support extended by both the Provincial Government of Bohol and the City Government of Tagbilaran throughout the company’s establishment process.

Also present during the event was the Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (BEDIPO), headed by Maria Fe Dominise, demonstrating the province’s support for new investments that generate employment and economic opportunities.

Currently, Clear Insights employs 66 talents at its Tagbilaran operation and targets to reach 200 heads by the end of the year as part of its growth strategy in the province.

The company is actively encouraging senior high school graduates, college graduates, and even qualified undergraduate applicants to explore career opportunities with Clear Insights, offering pathways for employment and professional development within Bohol.

The establishment of Clear Insights Philippines Services, Inc. further strengthens Bohol’s position as an emerging destination for IT-BPM investments, creating quality jobs and contributing to the province’s vision, aligned with the Strategic Change Roadmap of the PGBh towards inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
