Laguna Governor Sol Aragones personally inspected the emergency room extension of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Provincial District Hospital as the facility continues to serve patients while the construction of an additional emergency room is underway.

During her inspection, Aragones emphasized the importance of ensuring that each patient is provided with their own hospital bed.

Additional beds were immediately added to the emergency room extension to improve patient comfort and prevent overcrowding.

She stressed that providing one bed for every patient remains a top priority, alongside the continuous renovation and improvement of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Provincial District Hospital in Calamba City.

Joining the inspection was Chief of Hospital Dr. Petersen Uy, who continues to work closely with the provincial government to enhance healthcare services and hospital facilities.

Aragones also expressed concern for patients waiting to be transferred to their designated rooms.

The ongoing improvements at the district hospital reflect the provincial government’s commitment to providing better healthcare services, ensuring patient comfort, and creating a more compassionate and responsive hospital environment for all Lagunenses.
