GAB VOWS SUPPORT FOR ‘MEMORY’ ATHLETES

The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) conducted the seminar “Practical Tips to Improve Your Memory” at the GAB Central Office to promote professional development through enhanced memory skills.

Resource speaker Robert Racasa shared practical techniques for improving memory and strengthening information retention and recall.

Young memory athlete Georgina Santos also impressed participants with a demonstration of her advanced mental memory skills, highlighting the value of a disciplined and well-trained mind.

GAB Chairman Atty. Francisco Rivera, together with Commissioners Atty. Manuel Plaza III and Angel Bautista, commended Racasa for sharing his expertise and Santos for her dedication to Memory Sports.

“We will endorse the Santos family’s request for assistance to the appropriate government sports agencies in support of Georgina’s participation in the 2026 World Memory Championships.”

Rivera committed to endorsing the Santos family’s request for assistance to the appropriate government sports agencies in support of Georgina’s participation in the 2026 World Memory Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (11–13 December) and Bali, Indonesia (17–19 December).

While GAB’s primary mandate is to supervise and regulate professional sports, the Agency continues to support young Filipino athletes who bring pride to the country through excellence on the international stage.
