Beginning this August, the Provincial Government of Laguna will officially roll out the ATM-based payout of scholarship allowances for Laguna Scholars, replacing the previous face-to-face distribution system.
As of July 23, 2026, 15,000 out of the 25,000 scholars have successfully opened their Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) accounts, while the Provincial Government is set to announce a designated date in August for an orientation to guide beneficiaries through the new ATM payout process and other important guidelines.
Scholars will also have the option to choose whether to avail of a physical ATM card or use Landbank’s digital banking services.

Governor Sol Aragones expressed her encouragement to the scholars as they prepare for the transition to the new payout system.

The implementation of the ATM payout system underscores the Provincial Government’s continuing commitment to supporting the education of Laguna’s youth by making scholarship assistance convenient for every beneficiary.
