The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) launched its 2026 Handbook on the Agency’s Core Processes—an important milestone in strengthening the Agency’s Quality Management System (QMS) as it works toward ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
The handbook serves as a guide to GAB’s key regulatory functions, including: accreditation, licensing, permit issuance, supervision and adjudication.
It also clearly defines the roles and responsibilities of GAB personnel, helping ensure that services are delivered with greater consistency, transparency, and accountability.

“This is GAB’s first updated handbook on its core processes after 20 years,” Rivera added.
“I encourage GAB personnel to continue raising the standard of public service as the Agency moves closer to ISO certification.”
