The Bureau of Customs (BOC), under the stewardship of Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, recorded its highest-ever monthly and January-to-July revenue collections based on preliminary data, surpassing revenue targets and generating additional funds to support the priority programs of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration.
Preliminary figures show that the BOC collected ₱95.848 billion in July 2026, the highest monthly revenue collection ever recorded in its history.
The amount exceeded its collection goal of ₱91.526 billion by ₱4.322 billion, or 4.7%, and was 12.5% higher than the ₱85.180 billion collected in July 2025.
The record July performance also pushed the BOC’s cumulative collections for the first seven months of the year to ₱587.711 billion, likewise the highest collection ever recorded for the January-to-July period.
The figure surpassed the Bureau’s collection target of ₱576.366 billion by ₱11.345 billion, generating a surplus of 2.0%. Compared with the ₱543.951 billion collected during the same period in 2025, collections increased by ₱43.760 billion, or 8.0%.
Nepomuceno welcomed the BOC’s historic performance, attributing the results to the collective efforts of Customs personnel nationwide and the gains from ongoing reforms.

The strong preliminary results reflect the agency’s sustained efforts to strengthen revenue collection through enhanced customs procedures, intensified border protection measures, digital transformation initiatives, and closer collaboration with stakeholders.
The achievement likewise reinforces the BOC’s commitment to supporting the administration’s economic and fiscal agenda while facilitating legitimate trade and ensuring efficient service delivery.
