Senator Bong Go underscored the vital role of technical-vocational education in equipping Filipinos with practical skills, strengthening self-reliance, and opening pathways to stable employment as his Malasakit Team joined the graduation ceremony of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) scholars in Santo Tomas City, Batangas.
“Binabati ko ang lahat ng scholars sa inyong pagtatapos. Ang mga kasanayang natutuhan ninyo ay magagamit ninyo sa paghahanapbuhay at sa pagtulong sa inyong mga pamilya,” Go said.
The veteran legislator encouraged the graduates to continue improving their abilities and apply their training responsibly as they pursue employment, livelihood, or further education.
“Gamitin ninyo nang maayos ang inyong natutunan.”
“Gamitin ninyo nang maayos ang inyong natutunan. Patuloy kayong magsikap at huwag matakot na humanap ng mga oportunidad kung saan ninyo magagamit ang inyong kakayahan,” the seasoned lawmaker said.
The graduation ceremony, held in NM Punzalan Integrated Farm in Barangay San Felix, Santo Tomas City, recognized 25 scholars who completed Agro-Entrepreneurship NC II. During the activity, the graduates received snacks, balls, vitamins, shirts, pens, and food packs.
The senator said technical-vocational training remains an important option for Filipinos seeking qualifications that can be applied directly to available jobs and livelihood activities.
“Hindi pare-pareho ang landas ng bawat tao. Ang mahalaga ay mabigyan ang ating mga kababayan ng pagkakataong matuto ng kasanayan na makatutulong sa kanilang kinabukasan,” he said.
“Hindi pare-pareho ang landas ng bawat tao.”
Go urged the graduates to approach their future work with discipline, professionalism, and concern for the people they serve.
“Simula pa lamang ito ng panibagong yugto para sa inyo. Patuloy kayong mag-aral, magtrabaho nang maayos, at gamitin ang inyong kakayahan upang magkaroon ng mas magandang buhay,” he concluded.
