The Provincial Government of Isabela (PGI) and the Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) strengthened their partnership with a ₱500-million financing agreement for the construction of the Governor Faustino N. Dy (GFNDy) Medical Center.
Governor Rodito Albano and Lynette Ortiz, President and CEO of LandBank, signed the agreement during a ceremony at the Balai, Provincial Capitol in Isabela.
Ortiz said the partnership with Isabela goes beyond financing, as LandBank also seeks to help drive the provincial economy, create jobs, and improve the lives of its people.
“What we do here at LandBank is to make sure that the partnership allows us to fuel the economy of this province.”

Ortiz said healthcare remains a top priority of the province and welcomed the partnership.
“Healthcare is topmost in the agenda of the province, and we’re very happy that we’re able to cement this relationship, first with this ₱500-million facility,” she stressed.
Ortiz also said LandBank is looking to support Isabela’s rice procurement program, as well as its planned solar and clean energy projects.
Albano, meanwhile, stressed that the partnership and the resources it provides must translate into projects that directly benefit the people.
“Everything we do, we want to make sure that it trickles down to the upliftment of the lives of our people,” Albano said.
The governor also thanked LandBank for its support and commitment to Isabela.

The GFNDy Medical Center is expected to expand access to quality healthcare for Isabelinos.
