The Provincial Government of Bohol and the World Bank are strengthening coordination toward the proposed Loboc Bulk Water Project, a major initiative to address long-term water supply needs in the province.
Governor Aris Aumentado met with World Bank representatives led by Water Practice Manager Michael John Webster to discuss the project and its proposed implementation.

“This is a major project that aims to provide a more reliable and sustainable water supply to our communities,” the governor added.
Also present at the meeting were Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, Undersecretary Allan Canizal, Lala Fabella, Midori Makino, Takeshi Murakami, Georges Comair, and other concerned officials.

The initiative supports Bohol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap by investing in resilient water infrastructure and strengthening access to essential services toward a more water-secure and sustainable Bohol, a UNESCO Global Geopark.
“Our efforts for a water-secure Bohol will never stop. Water security is also security for the lives, livelihoods, and future of every Boholano,” he stressed.
“Our collaboration with the World Bank and government agencies such as DPWH, DILG, DENR, and others is important to continue and strengthen this project,” Aumentado concluded.
