The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) conducted its second Management Review at the GAB Central Office in Makati City, spearheaded by GAB Chairman Atty. Francisco Rivera, together with Special Projects Unit Head and Quality Management System (QMS) Team Leader Dr. Jesucito Garcia, and Internal Audit Core Team Leader Cynthia Cañezal.
The Management Review focused on addressing Audit Non-Conformities (NC) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFI), as well as recognizing commendable practices identified during the Internal Audit Program conducted recently, in line with the agency’s commitment to continually improve its processes and strengthen compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
“Going back is as tedious as moving forward. So, we decided to move forward. And now, we can almost see the outlines of the seashore on the other side,” Rivera said.
“If we succeed in this exercise, we would end up with a more efficient, more productive GAB that is ready to accomplish its goals.”

The activity served as a platform for constructive discussions among the Board, Division Chiefs, Section Heads, GAB Internal Auditors, and key employees toward enhancing the agency’s processes to continually improve its services to professional athletes, coaches, and stakeholders.
