ARAGONES EXPANDS ‘AKAY NI GOB BOTIKA’ IN LAGUNA

Laguna Governor Sol Aragones led the launching of the third batch of Akay ni Gob Botika in nine towns in the province.

The launching was held together with her representatives, including veteran journalist Doland Castro, Rizal Vice Mayor Antonino Aurelio, and former Luisiana Vice Mayor Luibic Jacob. 

The activity was also attended by local officials and representatives from the municipalities of Paete, Liliw, Siniloan, Pangil, Pagsanjan, Victoria, Majayjay, Rizal, and Magdalena, showing strong support from local government units.

“Ang good news! Bago matapos ang February ay magkakaroon na ng Clopidogrel at B-Complex sa mga seniors,” Aragones announced. 

“Habang Gobernador si Gov. Sol ay pwedeng makakuha ng gamot at nais pang madagdagan ng gamot. Sa mga namomroblema sa reseta, sa mismong Akay ni Sol Botika ay may doktor na siyang magbibigay ng reseta,” the lady governor added.

She also announced that by March, the botikas in every municipality will be completed, ensuring wider reach of the program across the province. 

Aragones further shared that by April 2026, the dialysis center in Pakil will officially open, providing critical medical support for patients in need of regular dialysis treatment.

Local officials and beneficiaries welcomed the initiative with gratitude.

Meanwhile, Mayor Dario Lapada Jr. noted, “Kapag malusog ang tao, malusog ang mamamayan, malusog ang buong Pilipinas.”

A beneficiary from Pagsanjan shared, “Ito pong ginagawa niya ay napakalaking tulong sa amin senior citizens na may mga maintenance. Nawa’y magtagumpay po ang lalawigan ng Laguna sa kanyang pamumuno.”

With the continued rollout of Akay ni Gob Botika, its regular operating schedule, and the upcoming completion of botikas in every municipality, the Provincial Government of Laguna reinforces its commitment to inclusive and people-centered healthcare. 

The program reflects the administration’s vision of bringing medical assistance closer to communities, ensuring that quality healthcare and essential medicines remain accessible to every Lagunense.
