Laguna Governor Sol Aragones joined the triple celebration in Biñan City with local officials.
The program opened with the introduction of Mayor Gel Alonte alongside Aragones, Vice Governor JM Carait, Congressman Arman Dimaguila, Vice Mayor Dada Reyes, Provincial Administrator Atty. Nathalie Velasquez, Board Members Bong Bejasa, Bokal Jigcy Pecaña, and the City Councilors of Biñan.

Dimaguila, on the other hand, reflected on the importance of history.
“Tatandaan po natin, kaya natin cinecelebrate ito para hindi makalimutan ng mga kabataan, kung ano ang nangyari 81 years ago, nung Liberation,” the legislator said.
A skit depicting the Japanese occupation and Biñan’s liberation allowed residents, especially the youth, to experience the city’s heroic past.
“At ang Araw ng Biñan itong Cityhood ay para sa mga civic organization sa mga negosyante para na magsama-sama at ipakita kung ano ang lungsod ng Biñan. Gaano kagaling ang ating lungsod,” the lawmaker added.
In delivering her message, Aragones focused on celebrating Biñan’s achievements.
“Ang araw na ito ay paggunita ng alaala ng mahabang panahon ng magandang kasaysayan at tradisyon ng Biñan.”

Proud po ako na taga-Laguna dahil kinikilala ang Binan hindi lamang sa Laguna kundi sa buong bansa at dahil po ‘yan sa pagsisikap ng bawat isang residente,” the lady governor stressed.
She also joined the festivities personally, distributing 2,000 free hotdog sandwiches to attendees from San Miguel Food Corporation (SMC).
The program featured the City of Life Dancers, the Biñan theme song by Raynaldo Bayuko performed by the Binan Vocal Ensemble, the Philippine national anthem, and the Oath of Allegiance to the Philippine Flag, led by a city councilor.
The 81st Liberation Day commemoration followed, highlighting the bravery and resilience of Biñan’s people.
