On February 15 (Sunday), AskAbogado.ph partners with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) to offer free legal consultations to qualified beneficiaries in celebration of our one-year anniversary.
On this day, participants may sign up to consult with any of our volunteer lawyers regarding animal cruelty cases covered under Philippine animal welfare laws.
PAWS accepts and assists with cases involving, among others:
1. Physical abuse or maltreatment of animals
2. Neglect, abandonment, or failure to provide proper care
3. Killing of animals in a cruel or unlawful manner
4. Dog fighting, horse fighting, and other acts punishable under the Animal Welfare Act (RA 8485, as amended by RA 10631)
