The 16 vehicles surrendered to the Bureau include a Mercedes Benz GLE, Land Rover Range Rover LWB, Land Rover Defender, Cadillac Escalade ESV, Ford Bronco, Mercedes Benz GLS 350, BMW X5 30d, Jaguar F-Pace 2.0D, Porsche Cayenne V6, Volvo XC90, Mercedes Benz Avant, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Mercedes Benz Sprinter, ATV Quicksand, GMC Yukon Denali, and an ATV Gray.

All 28 vehicles have been sealed and placed under round-the-clock security. They are now under strict watch by customs agents and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

“The family’s compliance is a necessary step that will aid the ongoing investigation into the importation of Discaya-owned luxury vehicles.”

Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno stressed that the family’s compliance is a necessary step that will aid the ongoing investigation into the importation of Discaya-owned luxury vehicles, in connection with the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee’s inquiry into alleged anomalous flood control projects.

“If violations are found, we will ensure that appropriate penalties are imposed in accordance with the law.”

“This latest development will greatly assist us in verifying the importation records of these vehicles. We will assure the public that we will thoroughly check on compliance and documentation of these vehicles. If violations are found, we will ensure that appropriate penalties are imposed in accordance with the law,” Nepomuceno said.

The BOC is working closely with the Land Transportation Office to ensure a meticulous review of the importation records covering all 28 vehicles.
