BOC SEIZES KUSH WORTH P14.9M AT NAIA TERMINAL 3

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to intensify the campaign against illicit drugs, the Bureau of Customs – Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC- NAIA), together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and other partner agencies, successfully intercepted high-grade marijuana, or ‘Kush,’ with an estimated value of P14.9 million at NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City.

The interdiction operation was conducted at NAIA Terminal 3, resulting in the seizure of a luggage with 18 vacuum-sealed transparent pouches containing approximately 9,940 grams of dried leaves suspected to be Kush.

This operation highlights the strengthened inter-agency cooperation under the administration of President Marcos Jr. and reflects the BOC’s continuing vigilance in safeguarding the nation’s gateways.
