BOHOL GOV’T, AFP SIGN STREET WIDENING AGREEMENT

Recognizing Bohol’s strategic location and its growing potential as a hub for economic activity, Bohol Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado and AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner, Jr., formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Provincial Government of Bohol and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The agreement paves the way for the widening of Hangos Street, situated near Camp Bernido, as part of proactive efforts to accommodate the anticipated rise in business and infrastructure development in the area.

“The signing of the MOA will pave the way for the widening of Hangos St. in anticipation of the spur of business activities near Camp Bernido,” Aumentado explained.

This collaboration marks the beginning of strengthened partnerships between the provincial government and national defense institutions, anchored not only on infrastructure support but also on the shared mission of preserving peace, order, and security across the province.

“This is just the start of more collaboration to maintain the peace and security of our province.”
