The Provincial Government of Bohol, led by Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, formally turned over the newly completed Multi-Purpose Building at the Candijay Community Hospital (CCH).
The ₱50-million project, funded through the Convergence and Special Support Program with the help of former Senator and DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, will serve as an Outpatient Department (OPD) with a triage building and access road canopy connecting to other hospital facilities.
“The proper maintenance and stewardship of public funds is important.”
Aumentado emphasized the importance of proper maintenance and stewardship of public funds, noting that the true success of the project will be measured in the years ahead.
Present during the ceremony were Candijay Mayor Thamar Olaivar, Congresswoman Kristine Alexie Tutor’s representative Carmela Raya, Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, PHO OIC Dr. Fruserma Mary Uy, DPWH District Engineer Magiting Cruz, and other local officials.
“The Provincial Government is committed to accessible and quality healthcare.”
This milestone project underscores the Provincial Government’s commitment to accessible and quality healthcare — a key component of its Strategic Governance Roadmap toward inclusive development.
As the first and only UNESCO Global Geopark in the Philippines, Bohol continues to champion not only its natural and cultural heritage but also the well-being and resilience of its people.
