The Provincial Government of Bohol brought Bugas Bol-anon to Clarin as part of its commitment to make affordable and quality rice accessible to Boholano families.

Offered at ₱36 per kilo, the locally produced rice reflects the province’s efforts to strengthen food security while providing farmers with a reliable market for their harvest.

Alongside this initiative, the Kadiwa ng Pangulo stalls showcased fresh produce directly from local growers, ensuring that Clarin residents could bring home nutritious food while supporting the livelihood of their fellow Boholanos.

Residents also benefited from the Abante BOSS Caravan, which brought frontline government services to Clarin. Agencies such as the DOLE, SEC, BIR, GSIS, DTI, OWWA, and LTO extended assistance to clients on-site.

The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) further supported farmers by distributing free seeds and seedlings.

Market Specialist Ligaya Astronomo-Castillo, representing BEDIPO Head Maria Fe Dominise, emphasized the value of bringing government programs closer to the people.

“The fair is not only a showcase of products but also a reflection of the perseverance of farmers, fisherfolk, and community members who keep the town thriving.”

Dr. Roman Dabalos of APCO Bohol – DA RFO VII also noted that the fair is not only a showcase of products but also a reflection of the perseverance of farmers, fisherfolk, and community members who keep the town thriving.
