The Provincial Government of Bohol under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado, has been officially recognized as drug-free in the 2025 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit.
The province and its 33 municipalities earned a “High Functional” rating — a significant jump from 23 towns in 2024 — reflecting stronger anti-drug programs and effective grassroots interventions across barangays.
This achievement highlights intensified coordination among law enforcement, barangay officials, health workers, and communities to prevent the resurgence of illegal drugs while ensuring proper rehabilitation for those affected.
