DIZON FILES 2 MORE BID RIGGING CASES WITH PCC

Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon sa Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) filed two more cases for preliminary inquiry against two contractors involved in bid rigging and bid manipulation under three contracts in Davao Occidental and La Union.

This is in line with the director of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to go after former employees of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and contractors  who advantage of government projects.

Dizon filed against St. Timothy Construction Corporation, Silverwolves Construction Corporation, and several officials and employees of DPWH Davao Occidental and La Union 2nd District Engineering Offices in connection with ghost and substandard flood control projects in Culaman, Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental and Bauang, La Union.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) has forwarded to the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) the complaints filed by Dizon with the Ombudsman against about 20 accredited and licensed officials of the DPWH for investigation and possible filing of several cases.
