DOTR EXPEDITES PRODUCTION OF MOTORCYCLE PLATES

Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon announced that the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has addressed the 11-year backlog of motorcycle plates.

Marcos has directed the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to expedite the production and distribution of the motorcycle plates, which has been lagging since 2014.

“This year, we have now produced 5.4 million MC plates, which effectively eliminates the backlog.”

“Finally, under the administration of President Bongbong Marcos and after 11 years na-wipe out na natin ‘yung backlog sa motorcycle plates. This year, we have now produced 5.4 million MC plates, which effectively eliminates the backlog,” Dizon said during a media briefing.

Secretary Dizon said the 5.4 million MC plates have been produced and will be distributed to LTO district offices throughout the country.

“Those plates are being distributed to LTO district offices.”

“Na-produce na ‘yung plates. Right now, those plates are being distributed to LTO district offices,” the transport chief said.

In a related development, the LTO has launched the ltotracker.com, wherein motorists can monitor their plates whether it is for delivery or available for pick-up at the LTO district office.

The ltotracker.com can also be accessed via eGovPH app.
