DPWH: ARANETA AVE DRAINAGE WORKS OK BY FEBRUARY

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is working double time to finish the expansion project of a drainage system along Araneta Avenue in preparation for the rainy season, Secretary Vince Dizon announced.

Dizon wants the project finished before the end of March.

“Tinetake-advantage natin ‘yung hindi umuulan. Kailangan lahat ng trabaho itotodo na natin bago mag-June para kahit papaano maibsan natin ‘yung pagbabaha dito,” the public works chief stressed as he inspected the drainage project in Quezon City.

This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to make sure that all drainage works in the country are functional.
