GREEN OAKS MEDICAL MISSION GOES TO SARANGANI

Governor Rogelio Pacquiao expressed gratitude to the Green Oaks Medical Mission Inc. team to Sarangani Province for their commitment to bringing free and accessible healthcare services to Sarangans.

The Green Oaks Medical Mission, Inc. is a registered charitable organization founded in 2008 and is based in Illinois, USA classified as an international relief non-profit that supports health-related and charitable activities, particularly those that may extend beyond the USA, such as medical missions abroad. The organization is led by CEO Dr. Nida Blankas-Hernaez.

The group held a three-day medical and surgical mission in Sarangani where doctors, nurses, and volunteer missioners provided health services, medical consultations, and conduct selected minor and major procedures to identified beneficiaries in the province.

The first day was held at the Capitol Compound in Alabel providing essential healthcare services to more than a thousand patients. This turnout underscores the need for quality and accessible medical care and the mission’s remarkable impact to the community.

The services were rendered by a committed team of 87 volunteer healthcare professionals from Green Oaks Medical Mission, Inc. and support personnel from the provincial government of Sarangani.

On day two, Pacquiao personally visited the mission site at the Capitol Compound to check on patients and medical volunteers.

In his visit, the governor interacted with patients and expressed appreciation to the Green Oaks Medical Mission team and all the volunteers for their continued dedication and compassionate service to the Sarangans.

Prior to visiting the mission site, he addressed his fellow public servants during the flag-raising ceremony and emphasized the importance of bringing quality medical assistance closer to communities, particularly those with limited access to healthcare.
