Secretary Vince Dizon has the full trust of Senator Panfilo Lacson in steering the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to put an end to corruption.
Lacson expressed his confidence in Dizon during the plenary debates on the 2026 proposed budget of DPWH.
“We fully trust Secretary Vince Dizon and his team.”
“Mr. Chairman, with you there and Secretary Vince at the helm of the DPWH, I think reforms are really underway. We fully trust Secretary Vince Dizon and his team, actually,” the veteran legislator said.
The public works chief thanked the senators and gave assurance that more reforms will be implemented.
The agency will push for transparency, accountability and more responsible management of public works projects to avoid irregularity and anomaly.
“Kabilin-bilinan po sa atin ng Pangulo na baguhin at repormahin ang DPWH. Umpisa pa lamang po tayo sa pagreporma at pagbabago,” Dizon said.
“Makakaasa po ang taumbayan at ang ating mga mambabatas na itong budget na ito ay talagang mapupunta sa taumbayan.”

After deliberation, the Senate approved the P568-billion proposed 2026 DPWH budget sponsored by Senator Win Gatchalian.
