A total of 1,000 sacks of rice and bottled drinking water were donated by Senator Erwin Tulfo, in cooperation with Representatives Ernix Dionisio and Irwin Tieng, to the City of Manila.
“Sisiguraduhin ng city government na makararating ang tulong sa mga pinakanangangailangan, lalo na sa mga evacuee na patuloy na binibigyan ng pagkain sa mga evacuation center,” Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said.
Tulfo, Dionisio and Tieng personally brought the donations to Manileños.

“We are happy and grateful to the Senate, especially to the office of Sen. Erwin Tulfo,” the mayor added.
He had also received another set of donations from the Rotary International District 3810 and Planet Drugstore Corporation.
The donation included 500 packs of 5kg rice and groceries from the Rotary International District 3810, while Planet Drugstore Corporation donated 50,000 capsules of Doxycycline.

The donation was on top of the ones earlier given by Garrod Inc. who donated 50,000 of doxycycline tablets, 30,000 tablets of paracetamol and 500 bottles of Paracetamol syrup.
These earlier donations are said to be distributed to the field employees of the Department of Engineering and Public Works, Department of Public Services, and Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau.
