Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman Dick Gordon mobilized volunteers, staff, and life-saving assets nationwide as thousands joined rallies recently.
“The Red Cross is always there when people need us most,” Gordon said.
In Metro Manila alone, PRC positioned 130 personnel supported by a wide range of humanitarian equipment to ensure public safety and rapid emergency response.
To reinforce these ground teams, PRC also deployed 14 ambulances strategically positioned across Metro Manila chapters, 2 fire trucks, 2 food trucks, a water tanker, a VERV, a 6×6 truck, and eight scooter units. These resources provided mobility, logistical support, and immediate medical evacuation whenever necessary.
“Maaasahan ng taumbayan ang Philippine Red Cross.”

PRC teams were stationed in EDSA, Luneta Park, and Mendiola, with services available from first aid, welfare, and emergency response.
“Nandito kami para magbigay ng tulong —mula sa basic first aid hanggang life-saving response—habang nagpapatuloy ang mga kilos-protesta.”
