Registration is now officially open for the ASKABOGADO.PH x PAWS Sunday Free Legal Aid, in partnership with IKOT.PH!
If you or someone you know needs legal guidance—especially for animal welfare concerns—this is your chance to receive free legal consultation from volunteer lawyers ready to help. Qualified beneficiaries may book a slot through AskAbogado.ph, subject to screening under Supreme Court guidelines. HOW TO KNOW IF YOU’RE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE LEGAL AID?

You may be a qualified beneficiary if any of the following apply to you: 

• You have little to no money or property for basic needs like food, shelter, and daily necessities 

• Your gross monthly family income does not exceed twice the minimum wage in your area 

• You do not own real property with a fair market value of more than ₱300,000 

• You are an OFW, migrant worker, refugee, asylum-seeker, or stateless person and cannot afford adequate legal services 

📌 Eligibility is based on Supreme Court A.M. No. 22-11-01-SC 

📌 Free legal aid is subject to screening 

WHAT DOCUMENTS CAN I SUBMIT? 

To help determine eligibility, please prepare any of the following, if available: 

• Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or income tax return slip 

• Pay slip 

• Current Tax Declaration 

• Certificate of Indigency issued by the DSWD or your LGU

HOW DO I SIGN UP? 

1️⃣ Sign up and create a profile on AskAbogado.ph 

2️⃣ On the AskAbogado landing page, click “PAWS Free Legal Aid” 

3️⃣ Choose a lawyer and time slot 

    (One booking per account only) 

4️⃣ Fill out the form 

    • Upload your Certificate of Indigency or other supporting documents* 

    • Briefly describe your animal welfare case 

5️⃣ Click “Book Meeting” 

6️⃣ Attend your FREE consultation on February 15 

*Other supporting documents may include your latest income tax return, pay slip, or current tax declaration showing your inability to afford adequate legal services
