“This project embodies our commitment to public service that goes beyond the walls of the Senate, beyond the legislature. The Senate Mobile Clinic brings healthcare closer to the people,” Sotto said.
Designed as a medical unit on wheels, the Mobile Clinic features an X-ray machine, blood testing facilities, and various diagnostic tools for on-site screening.
“It will be deployed to underserved communities to provide free preventive, diagnostic, and emergency health services.”
Supervised by the Senate Public Assistance Office (SPAO), it will be deployed to underserved communities to provide free preventive, diagnostic, and emergency health services.
“This is not just about bringing equipment closer to the people, it’s about bringing hope, compassion, and the assurance that public service is alive and mobile,” he said.
