The Philippine Red Cross (PRC), led by Chairman and CEO Dick Gordon, received a ₱1 million donation from TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance) to help sustain relief operations for families affected by recent earthquakes and disasters.
Gordon expressed gratitude for TP’s continued partnership and compassion.
“The Philippine Red Cross is always first to respond when disasters strike. But it is through partners like Teleperformance that we are able to reach more people, deliver them aid, and give them hope in such times,” the Chairman said during the turnover ceremony.
Following the symbolic turnover, he joined TP’s top executives, including TP Americas CEO Miranda Collard, TP India/ANZ CEO and Chief AI Officer Anish Mukker, TP in the Philippines CEO Rahul Jolly, and Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson.
“We’re not just here to do business, we’re also here to make sure that we leave the community a better place.”
In his message, Johnson shared, “One of the things that’s so important to us at TP is that we contribute to the communities where we operate. We’re not just here to do business, we’re also here to make sure that we leave the community a better place. We partner with the Red Cross because we share the same mission: wherever you operate, you do good and leave the community better.”
“Now is the best time to show solidarity.”
Meanwhile, Jolly emphasized TP’s enduring partnership with PRC, saying, “TP has been looking along the way to do something meaningful. Thanks to this partnership, we’ve done a lot over the years, and we are super passionate about this initiative. Thank you for giving back to the communities, now is the best time to show solidarity.”
Gordon also took the opportunity to showcase the PRC Safe Card, the 1,200 peso annual membership card of PRC which entitle members with free one ambulance service, free one bag of blood for accident-related incidents, and insurance for members.
Since 2015, TP in the Philippines has been a consistent partner of PRC through its Citizen of the World (COTW) program, extending support to major disaster responses such as Typhoon Yolanda, Typhoon Nina, and the Taal Volcano eruption.
